Insurance & storm help

Storm damage? We'll walk it with you and your adjuster.

Free damage assessment, straight-answer documentation, and 20+ years of adjuster-side experience across TN and GA. Call Rivco before you call your carrier — it usually goes better.

How it works

Six steps from storm to signed-off.

We've walked hundreds of insurance claims across the Chattanooga metro. Here's the actual sequence — no jargon.

  1. 01
    Document the damage

Before you call anyone, take dated photos of every affected area — inside and out. Save them. Adjusters need this and so do we.

  2. 02
    File the claim

Call your carrier and file. Get a claim number in writing. This starts the clock on your policy's cooperation requirement.

  3. 03
    Free damage assessment

We come out, walk the roof and exterior, and give you a written scope of what's damaged and what's pre-existing — no charge, no obligation.

  4. 04
    Meet the adjuster

We meet your adjuster on-site if you want us there. Two sets of eyes finds damage one set misses.

  5. 05
    Approved scope & schedule

Once the carrier approves the scope, we schedule the work. You pay only your deductible plus any owner-directed upgrades.

  6. 06
    Build & final invoice

We complete the work, submit the final invoice to your carrier, and hand you a written two-year workmanship warranty.

FAQ

Should I file a claim before you look at the roof?

It depends. If damage is visible from the ground or you have interior leaks, yes. If you're not sure, we can do a free assessment first and tell you whether it's worth filing.

Do you handle the paperwork with my insurance company?

We handle the scope documentation, photo evidence, and adjuster meeting. Your carrier will still want you as the policyholder to sign off on payments, but we make sure the paperwork is right.

Will filing a claim raise my premium?

That's a conversation for your agent. We can help you decide whether the repair is worth filing based on your deductible and the estimated damage.

What if my claim gets denied?

We can request a re-inspection with your carrier. Roughly 1 in 4 denied claims we've been involved with have been overturned on re-inspection with better documentation.
